Teaching Series 1 on the Reign of God's Mercy.

 [What Qualifies us to be a Candidate of God's Mercy].

(Romans 9:15-16) _"For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy"_

A Scripture opens us up to God's Vulnerability on how God dispenses His Mercy which is a Nature of Him, as much as Mercy is God's Nature, and a Scripture Highlighted that God is full of Mercy (Psalm 103:8), it is not available to everyone, God declares that He only shows His Mercy to whom He chooses to shows His Mercy.

 What then Can grant us access to this Dimension of God? 

Mercy is One of the System of Advantage in God's Kingdom, and as we know there are many System of Advantage in God's Kingdom (Such as Light, Favour, Grace, Wisdom, Direction, Divine Guidance etc...), but to be a beneficial of this Advantage we must have been engrafted into the System of Salvation. Salvation is a Foundational Factor to access the Gift of Mercy (Hebrews 4:13-16), not that Mercy has not been in Place before the Engrafting into Salvation, because we see People like David and Blind Batholomen benefitting from this Nature of God, but just as we know that the Death of Christ to Reconcile us with God (Salvation) opens up the Generosity Dimension of God towards Mankind.

With *Salvation* even though God initially declared that He Chooses to have Mercy on whom He has Mercy on, it has brought us into Proximity and Access to this System of Advantage. Giving up our Old Nature of Sin and taking up the Life of Christ gives us a Passport to become a Citizen of God's Kingdom (Phillipians 3:20-21), and there is no way you can be a Citizen of a Kingdom and you will not have Full Rights to the Inheritance of the Kingdom. With Salvation we can now Partake of God's Mercy Freely and Position it's Possibilities into Different aspect of our Life through Prayer. If you are not Born-Again and you are Praying for God's Mercy it will be difficult because there is no Legal Ground to Proclaim this Right into your Life.

 [Ask yourself am I in Christ, and is the Life of Christ the Order of the day in my Life and the one Empowering my Journey Right here on Earth, so that you don't find it difficult to See the Result of what we have been Praying for].

"O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them".

🎯Another Important Factor from the Human Standpoint to which is Required from us in order to access the Mercy of God is our *BROKENNESS.* There is no how a Man full of Himself or Herself or put so much Confidence in their Ability, Strength or Capacity can Obtain the Mercy of God. Mercy is not Something we earn by Hard work, Righteousness, or Service, we do not do anything to earn His Mercy, it is what we are not even Qualified for that we receive from the Lord. The Book of (Ephesians 2:4-5) Rightly describes it, It says God who is Rich in Mercy that while we were yet Sinners, send His Son to die for us that we might be Set free and delivered from the Snare of the devil which we have unconsciously found ourselves. Did we do anything to Earn that (No). He Saw us in our Helpless State and the Dimension of God that could not watch us go astray and suffer came for us(which is the Act of His Mercy).

 

(Psalm 51) "Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise"

David was a Man that we See that Enjoyed the MERCY dimension of God in His Lifetime, what we saw that got Others Head Cut off without Consideration, David Scale through and He was restored 10times better. *What was His Secret, that we need to Learn from?* David was a Broken Man, regardless of the Height He attain or the dexterity of His Need from God, He has never fail to realize that He is Helpless without God, and this has Stirred up the Mercy Dimensions of God towards Him Unreservedly.

 Do you find Strength and Strong Reference over your Effort,even though you know that God is Powerful. It is not Just enough to know that God is Powerful, but to know that of ourselves we are not Sufficient to apprehend ourselves over any matter, but that without the Help of God our Strength is weak. God's Mercy comes to the man that sees the Sufficiency of God over any achievements, effort and endeavor of He/Her Self.

"Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart".

 [The Dimension of God you haven't Seen in your Life is that Dimension you have not Seek the Lord and Call His Hand of Intervention].

🎯 The 3rd Requirements that Qualifies us access to God's Mercy is to *CALL UPON HIM for the INTERVENTION OF HIS MERCY* into your Life. The Bible even made us to Understand that whatever we ask in the Name of the Lord, that will He do for us, whether Mercy has been a Channel of Flow in your Lineage or Not, if you want the Manifestation of God's Mercy in your Life call upon Him in Prayer and Ask and it will be given to you.

(Luke 18:35-42) "And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee".

👆👆👆 Can we See the Story of Blind Batholomen. He didn't need a Formal Invitation to House Jesus, He Believed in the Power that Works in Him, Called upon Him and He received the Mercy over that Condition that has been troubling over a long time and by the Mercy of God the distress came to an End in a Second. It is of Full Evidence that when the Mercy of God comes in Contact with any Condition or Situation in our Life it pulls down the Walls, because it overrides Judgment which could be the Root Factor of any Condition we might be dealing with, but until we Call upon His Intervention of Mercy the Situation might just seem like that for a long time. Don't assume God understand your Situation, Call on His Intervention of Mercy for a Turnaround and you will see the Manifestation of His Mercy.

In Conclusion, Mercy is God's Nature and there is a dispension that we all have free access to like Blessing of the Daily Sunlight, Rain, and Breath in our lungs, but just as there are Steps to some Heights, there are Levels to the Manifestation of God's Mercy in Certain degree in our Life. You can't compare the MERCY of Obtaining Sunlight as important as it is, to the MERCY of having a Good Marriage, Deliverance from Ancestral Pattern and Finishing Well in Life. You can see that you can't Joke with inculcating the Above 3 Requirement to your Life to Qualify for a Greater Dimension of God's Mercy.
