THE ATTITUDE EXPECTED OF A BELIEVER IN DISCOMFORTING TIMES.

 ‎The Attitude Expected of a Believer in discomforting times.

Just like there are different Seasons in the World in which we live in Rotates around, so also the Life of a Man rotates around different Season, there are Seasons when a Man might experience Abundance and Rest roundabout, the Abscence of Battles, Mishaps and Negativity, while there are Seasons where a Man might think all Hell is loosed against Him and Struggle upon Struggle to get ends meet, none of this Season negates that God is on Vacation in a Man's Life or has abandoned such. We are taken through various Seasons in Life to Appreciate the Sovereignty of God, Humble us and make us build Dependency on God through Life Journey. But there is a Myth that Believers have been educated with which has had an Unbalanced effect upon their Faith which is when you come to Christ you are totally Free from Troubles, Tribulations and any Battles of Life, that is partially in Correct. The Faith Life is not a Soft Life where you sit and you are served or where you call for a thing or ask for a thing in the twinkle of your finger it gets to you. 

Having Dedicated your Life to God and following Him diligently and build a Solid Relationship with God and Constantly Abiding in Him you will Understand that the Journey at times might not be smooth or you are pampered with getting everything at your beck and call. So does this now mean that the Faith they Preached to us is Scam or Accepting Christ that remedies deliverance from bondage, oppression and hardship is not true. No there is a Difference between being Oppressed, Attacked, Enslaved and the Challenges that befall Believers. Believers are taken through a Season of Test in Life that Solidifies their Faith, Build their Character and Strengthen their Commitment to God. Even Jesus Said In this Life, you will face tribulations and trials but cheer up because I have Overcome the World (John 16:33). The Journey of Faith God has brought us into is not to Over pamper us into irresponsibility, but to Build us unto Maturity and Maturity is built and Attained through the Successful Scaling and Pass of Life test (that poses as Challenges and Difficulties), there is a Particular that Says "Irrespective of How the Sun Shines in a day, there will be dark clouds in that day, because the dawn will come and no matter how Sweet and Peaceful our Life is it will Encounter a Season of Sorrow", this is to mean Life is in Season and every man's Life on Earth will encounter the Pleasant Season and the Unpleasant Season even Countries experience Season, just like the boom of (Genesis ) revealed to us when Pharaoh had the dream that birthed Joseph Liberation and Upliftment through His Interpretation, where in He Interpreted that Egypt will Experience 7 years of Abundance and 7 years of Famine and how to Navigate this Season Effectively. One of the Skill that a Believer must learn in His or Christian Faith is Navigating Seasons of Life effectively. No Season is expected to affect our Identity, Becoming and our Relationship with God.

The Expression of each Season has the Ability to Affect a Man's Commitment to God and Relationship, whether the Pleasant Season or the Unpleasant Season. A Man that has not built Character in Discipline in Life Journey can misuse the Pleasant Season and Step out of Faith while a man who has not built Sagacity and Strong Faith can misuse the Unpleasant Season by denying God and Walking out of God's Divine Plan and Timing, you can now see that In all your getting as you Follow God, Receive Grace to Walk Effectively through every Season and Navigate it with Wisdom. 

So Stepping into the Core of this Message today, God desires to take us through a Journey of Understanding how to Navigate Rightly and the Attitude to dispose in one of the Seasons we have been discussing, so as to Receive Strength to Scale through it Successfully and Pass the test to Welcome the Glory that lies ahead, because "Weeping may Endure for a While but Joy always comes in the Morning after the Pass of the test of a discomforting Season. Many People during the discomforting Season they tend to allow their Pain to have a better hold of them and like we have Said Previously, No Season is designed to Swallow us up and drain us, but we have been designed in whatever test we are taking through to Conquer and Overcome the test, that is why Apostle Paul said "Through all this we are more than Conquerors in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:32). 

When we Encounter a Challenging Situation or discomforting Season in our Christian Race, we must understand that it doesn't mean that God has forsaken us or we have offended Him because many a times in this Season, God is usually Silence, He looks like your Prayers aren't getting to Him or He is incapable of taken care of that Situation, these are the thoughts that mostly runs in our Mind, don't let the devil blindfold you and paint a Picture of an Unfaithful or Unfair God to you, and make you walk out of what God is working out for you and His Divine Plan. Irrespective of the Gravity of the Challenge we must understand that God is in it with us and will see us through us, but Enjoying and Experiencing this Aspect of God comes with the Attitude you put up during this Season. Apostle Paul in one of His Letters gave us an Attitude expected of a Follower of Christ in Trials and Tribulations (2 Corinthians 4:8-10) "*Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option.We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out. We continually share in the death of Jesus in our own bodies so that the resurrection life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity"*. We are not expected to allow the difficult times or Situation to Shape us and become our Reaction to Life, instead of Shutting down, Neglecting God or People or Practicing things that you will not be proud of, God needs us to Know that a Provision and Supply is made available for us to be ourselves and not loose out on ourselves in Such Situations and that Provision and Supply is the *HOLYSPIRIT*, You can never Walk through a Difficult and Challenging times in your Strength because you will get weary but through God's Help and the Person of the HolySpirit you have invited into this Journey by Seeking the Face of God, you will be able to Express Joy with Ease, Love with Ease, Stay at Peace when the Storm seems to heavy for you and have your Faith intact without loosing it and as you tap into this, you will not be Swallowed up by Such Pain. 

I will Ask this Final Question before I Conclude my Message. *When Challenging Situation comes through your Journey in Life do you wish to Overcome it or want such Situation to Win you?* If your Answer is Overcoming the Situation then you need to begin to Build your Relationship with the HolySpirit, so that His Fruit and Resources will be available for you to Overcome any difficult times and let it not affect your Personality and the Blessing at the End of the Tunnel. 

May God help us to Receive Grace in difficult times inorder to Overcome it and not loose our Journey.
